In 2022 I was commissioned by Whaingaroa Youth movement to create a series of 12 hand-drawn animations for their end of year dance production All Under the Same Sky, along with a poster and program.
Throughout the year I met with the studio director to provide updates on my progress and take direction on what she was imagining for the show. Each animation corresponded to a dance and reflected the essence and message of the piece. Because of this, it was important that I was able to incorporate ideas and change when needed.
From this project I learned how to collaborate, develop my ideas, and produce a polished final product.
